Merry Christmas Everyone,
Another year is in the books, we had 34 shows. That is a significant jump from the last few years, but I am not quite sure how we did it. It didn't really feel like any more than normal. We had more Christmas shows this year, it seems like Darren's is getting better at promoting juggling while pumping concrete. He apparently has a hammer routine that I haven't seen. In terms of new nonjuggling things, we replaced our speakers from the 2011 Talent Challenge, and we printed up some more T-shirts. They are now a slightly lighter blue. On the juggling front, we made real progress on our club replacement routine. We even performed a partial version of it in a few shows. I think people aren't excited by the word replacements, so I am going to start trying to call it a club "take out" routine. Anyway, I think we have settled on a song, "Dude I Love You Less and Less" and have most of our tricks figured out. We just need to smooth it out, improve the ending trick, and figure out one giant hole. We spent one practice trying to figure out the giant hole. It did not go well, so this may take longer than I think but hopefully we can finish this in 2026. Even though Darren won D vs K this year, I was happy with my performance. Here is a link to the video recap. We also performed a juggling version of Pete the Cat at three libraries this summer. This worked really well especially considering that we put it together in one practice the morning of the first library show. We have had less full practices this year, but we are getting better at sneaking in little practices before shows. Next year, the main goal will be finishing up the club take outs routine. There is also an idea for a silly little Father Abraham style trick involving a glass of water that we might try out in the summer. Also, I want to try and work on an outline for a new show. Finally the personal sentences, Darren completed his biggest DIY project yet, a swimming pool; he even finished it with enough time to go swimming at least two times. Kevin and his wife are expecting baby number 5.

RE-act to, a back and forth, comment about what went before, not a new start....
